About Me

I was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. I graduated from Oregon College of Education (OCE), now WOU, in 1971. I served four years in the Air Force. I am married to my wife Lynda and have 2 sons, Ryan and Nick. We live in Salem. I am a member of BPOE in Independence. After working for the Adult and Family Services Division and the Senior and Disabled Services Division, State of Oregon, for 30 years, I retired in 1999. My entire career was spent to improve the lives of Oregon’s frail elderly and people of disability.
